1. Interview Process
An Arkansas Golf Center fitting starts with a quick "interview" in which we'll analyze vital information about your game and golf clubs. This allows your fitter to find out things like your current playing level, performance desires, current ball flight, desired ball flight, any injuries or physical limitations you may have, and more. This process starts the fitting and is continued throughout your fitting.
2. Static Measurements
Static or "standing" measurements include height, wrist to floor measurement, knuckle to floor measurement, hand size analysis, and setup position measurements. We'll also measure your current clubs if you're unsure of their specifications. We can test length, lie, and "TRUE" shaft flex of your current sticks upon request.
3. Dynamic Swing Analysis
Dynamic or "in motion" swing measurements are taken using our high tech fitting equipment. High-tech equipment used includes an in-swing computerized shaft analyzer, true RADAR swing speed measurements, Vector Pro Launch Monitor, Flightscope, Flightscope and/or Game Changer II Launch monitor. We'll also use time proven fitting tools such as face tape, lie tape, and a marker centering line on a golf ball to confirm things such as proper length and lie of the golf club. If needed we'll also take a high speed video of your golf swing to explain why certain things tend to happen and how we can fix them.
4. Golf Ball Flight Analysis
To show the results of each and every club trial we use ForeSight Sports Game Changer II Launch monitor, Flightscope and/or Accusport Vector Pro Launch monitor. With the use of these top tier monitors we'll be able to show you golf ball speed, golf ball launch angle, golf ball decent or "landing" angle, golf club attack angle, golf club smash factor, golf ball backspin rates during ball flight, golf ball backspin axis angle or "side spin", golf ball carry distance, golf ball roll distance, total distance traveled, and golf ball consistency pattern or grouping.
5. Results and Recommendations
Now at the end of your fitting your Arkansas Golf Center master club fitter will print your results from the fitting. You'll be able to keep for your records all the precise measurements that our devices have taken. Your fitter will also make recommendations based off of the different performance characteristics of all the different club's you'll have tried during the fitting. Sometimes there will be club's from your current set that are working properly or just need minor adjustments to enhance performance. Other times you'll see from the numbers how necessary it is to make a club change to reap HUGE BENEFITS . In any event, you'll have been totally involved in the entire process. There's no smoke and no mirrors. Your AGC fitter will explain every step and the computer software we use makes it simple for anyone to see and understand different results. Another benefit of the Arkansas Golf Center facility is that we have a real grass outdoor driving range. The information gathering process is conducted indoors so that weather conditions are not a factor, but having a driving range at our disposal allows us to watch actual ball flight from actual turf conditions when needed.
